Recently, the new anti-snap euro cylinders have come down in price and are now the industry standard among reputable Locksmiths. These lock cylinders prevent the Lock cylinder from being Snapped and then the door opened.
I would recommend fitting this type of lock cylinder, with a thumb turn on the inside for fire safety.
